Four books through February & March.

So it's by high time I take a minute to sit my bum down and make time to read the untouched books I have that are collecting dust on my bookshelves. To be fair it's not that I don't like reading because I love it, it's just I haven't been motivated to pick a book up (lame excuse I know). Back when, I could lock myself in my room and submerge myself in a book and not come out until I had finished it. I love that a good story can suck you in and take you on a roller coaster ride full of emotion, adventure and then leave you turning the last page hopefully that by some magical power that the story doesn't end there.

The four books I've decided to tackle in February and March are; The Maze Runner by James Dashner, Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, All The Birds In The Sky by Charlie Jane Anders and Paper Towns by John Green. Three out of the four books here have been sitting on my book shelve for quite awhile, so it's time I blow the dust off and dive straight in. The first I'm going to start with is 'The Maze Runner'. I've nearly finished the book and so far it's been one of those books that you can't wait to just curl up in bed at night and open the book to the last page you closed in on the previous night.
I'm just looking forward to curling up with a book at night and reading. Simple as that really. I know it sounds silly but when you've neglected something you really have a passion of it just really good to get back to it. Let's do this. If you have any book recommendations you think I should check out just leave them somewhere down below.

  1. lovely little collection of books!

paper towns + the maze runner were both really great books with film counterparts that left out/changed too many darn things!! :(

i really really want to read me before you (i'm just trying to find it for a good price!) :)

    1. Oh, I've heard the opposite for the maze runner that they actually did alright for the film!

Have you tried Amazon, I think I got mine for like £4 or something like that :) I can't wait for the film to come out. Now that's going to be one I take a lot of tissues to and wear no mascara to! xx
