Winter Arts Market

So I'm well aware that this blog post is going up about four weeks later then it should have been up but life caught up to me and I've literally had no time to sit down and write this blog. So here I am writing this before I head to work on Christmas Eve and probably posting this on Christmas day or Boxing day or some time before the New Year (this one is probably more realistic). Anyway better late then never.

The first weekend in December I went into the city centre of Liverpool and ventured into St George's Hall for this years Winter Arts Market. The Winter Arts Market is Merseyside's largest arts and crafts market. The market features work from more then 200 incredible artists, designers and makers. Upon thousands of items for sale – everything from handmade jewellery and accessories to paintings, beauty products, decorations, cards, photography and vintage clothing.

There was two different parts to the market, if you went upstairs it was the vintage clothes market and if you headed straight into one of the main halls that's where all the stalls where for the arts and crafts part. I myself have never been into St George's Hall before but it had sort of a magical feel to it with Christmas decorations up and a choir singing carols in the background. I only managed to pick up one thing from the market and that was a Star Wars print for one of my brothers Christmas presents. Which is the same Star Wars print on the mug as on the picture below but just on a A4 print. I'm not going to do much rambling in this post but I'll leave the links to the artists stalls I snapped pictures of under their pictures. But I very much enjoyed talking to some of the artist on the stalls there.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and that everyone has a wonderful New Year. Here's to 2016, bring it on.
